Welcome to Ed Price Designs and my new line, “Bottoms up.”

The concept behind “Bottoms up” is sensuality, motion, attitude, and more importantly, “what we leave to the imagination.” The styles include both contemporary and retro, with each piece being highly detailed and hand painted to convey its own story.

Sensuality is the human form itself. It is the life and energy that comes from the contours, curves and shapes of the human body. The clothes and costumes we wear accentuate what we wish others to notice and appreciate.

Motion is a sign of activity, and the essence of life that we are first drawn to. I believe each individual piece captures this energy and movement. Each portrays a different aspect of motion. Walking, leaning or just standing with a hip enticing you to look.

Attitude is the expression that is portrayed by body positioning. Each of us, whether we are consciously aware of it or not, give off an attitude that others read and interpret. Each model I worked with gave me something different to express in my artwork, i.e. “I’m hot and I know it.” or “I work out five days a week at the gym so check it out.” or even, “Look at me baby I’m all yours.”

Imagination; I feel this is the most important aspect of “Bottoms Up”. The individual looking at a particular piece is invited to draw on their own imagination - what does he or she see in the piece. Maybe it’s a husband, wife, lover, significant other, or maybe a fantasy character. What is not shown is as important as what is showing.
